CPSC 4394 - Database ManagementCredits: 3 Prerequisites: Prerequisites: CPSC 3300 and a high-level programming language (CPSC 2300 and CPSC 2301 or CPSC 3362 ). A study of the fundamental concepts of the design, structures, and development, and maintenance of databases. It includes an in-depth look at the relational database model, including an introduction to hierarchical and CODASYL models. SQL (Structured Query Language) and current commercial dbase application software packages are used.
