Master of Education (M.Ed.)

The Master of Education in Elementary Education provides a program of study for individuals seeking licensure and/or desiring to achieve an in-depth knowledge of Elementary Education.

36 Hours


Master of Education in Elementary Education, K-6


Track 1- Licensure


For licensed teachers in elementary education or middle school education.

Track 2- Seeking Licensure, 27 Hours


For those without a standard teaching license and seeking licensure in elementary education. (1) Complete the same General Core, Specialization and elective(s) from Track 1 AND (2) Complete the following undergraduate courses.

 

HIST 3300            Arkansas History

EDUC 4304          General Methods

RDNG 4310          Methods of Teaching Reading

SPED 2320           Speech and Language Acquisition

MATH 4340/4341  Modern Mathematics I or II

EDUC 4600           Student Teaching: Clinical

ELED 4606            Student Teaching: Practicum
