Agricultural Sciences, Poultry Science Option, B.S.

The curriculum in poultry science provides an educational pathway leading to a B.S. degree in agriculture-poultry science option from UAPB and a certificate of excellence in Poultry Science from U of A Fayetteville. It provides students with basic knowledge of the science of farm animals with a focus on poultry production in their senior year at U of A.

Goals:

  1. To provide students with the basic knowledge of animal and poultry production
  2. To provide students with knowledge and skills needed to secure employment with the poultry industries as well as agriculture-related government agencies
  3. To prepare students for graduate study in animal science
