GASP 5312 - Clinical Models of Addiction

This course will introduce students to counseling theories and techniques applicable to substance use disorders. Individual and group counseling theories, skills, and techniques are explored with a focus on cultural and societal contexts. Tobacco cessation protocols are reviewed as are introductory ethical issues in counseling.
