GAQF 5335 - Reservoir Fisheries and Ecology

This course will provide an in-depth look at the limnology, ecology, and management of reservoir systems. Students will learn reservoir physical/chemical properties, processes, and dynamics; trophic aspects; and specialized management issues. Students will be able to compare and contrast reservoir systems with lakes and rivers, and will be expected to present seminar topics to their peers. This course will be needed by all fisheries biologists. Offered spring semester of odd years.
