AGRI 4307 - Postharvest PhysiologyCredits: 3 Prerequisites: Prerequisites: BIOL 1455 or BIOL 1470 , AGRI 1421 , AGRI 2331 . Designed to outline the basic physiological and biochemical processes associated with senescence and storage conditions. Metabolic process in harvested products; stress in harvested products. The course covers factors affecting quality of fresh commodities in the field, storage, and in processing, covers the process of deterioration, protection of fresh commodities.
Lecture: Lecture: 2 hours per week. Laboratory: Laboratory: 2hours per week.
