GAQF 5326 - Fisheries Modeling


Students will learn to use a variety of statistical models commonly employed in fisheries science and ecology. Both deterministic and stochastic models will be employed that pertain to mainstream concepts in fish population dynamics and ecology. Examples of topics include virtual population analysis, fish bioenergetics, modeling fish-environment relationships, and models used for fish community analyses.

GAQF 5325  Fish Population Dynamics, GAQF 5405  Statistics in Research (or an equivalent statistics course)
