CSIT 4610 - Information Technology III

This is the third and capstone interdisciplinary Information Technology minor course in a series of three courses. The course has been developed by faculty in conjunction with local businesses for students of the liberal arts and other non-science disciplines. It consists of two major components: portfolio development and creating a database and web page for that assigned business. The students will be assigned to local businesses as externs. They will design a relational database, create tables, and establish links between tables, reports, and databases. This part of the course will also focus on designing web pages using Microsoft Front Page, Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks, HTML or scrip tic language. Microsoft Access will be used to design the relational database.
