BIOL 4380 - ImmunologyCredits: 3 Designed to cover the structure and functions of immune system in health and disease. Students will learn and demonstrate knowledge of immune system cells, their function, the structure and organization of immune system organs, their functions, cellular and humoral immune responses and a number of clinically important topics like vaccinations, immunosuppression, and autoimmune diseases. Lectures and instruction will cover topics related to immune cell function and explain how these cells interact to carry out the immune system functions and the regulatory mechanisms responsible.
